- Turkish Helicopter Collision : Two Turkish military helicopters collided mid-air during a training exercise in the southwestern province of Isparta. Five military personnel lost their lives in the tragic incident, as confirmed by the provincial governor.

- Air India Expands Fleet : Air India has placed an order for 100 more Airbus aircraft, bringing its total orders to 350 Airbus planes in the past two years. The airline has also ordered 220 Boeing planes as part of its aggressive expansion strategy.
